Believe it or not, I won't be able to use that headline for much longer.
I currently reside in Northwest Ohio. Licensed since 2018, I have made my way to an Extra Class license, and I enjoy exploring the unconventional sides of the hobby. I enjoy building antennas from items that were never meant to be radiated, working with underutilized bands (UHF+ specifically, even into GHz and THz), and helping to run NOVARS, a club founded by myself and a few good friends in late 2022.
I have an interest in Emergency Communications, volunteering my time as an ARES Assistant Emergency Coordinator, a SKYWARN Net Control Station, and I help create and implement plans and training for both organizations. I am very fond of commercial radio gear (looking at you Motorola, and the sweet, sweet screech of MDC1200), and activating entities for Parks on the Air. When not playing radio, I work full time in IT, and hae become the resident networking guru for my friends, helping to install their homelab servers and network systems.

However, sometimes the language choices help to push the point across. Please also check out the organizations and programs that I am a part of by clicking the links above.
Thanks for stopping by, and 73's
